Space girl

This is the work of yesterday. I guess, I am not the only one who loves SPACE. I think it’s so beautiful and interesting because of its stars and planets.

When I opened my sketchbook I had no idea what I wanted to draw, but I grabbed a pencil and drew something.

TIPP: If you want to draw something, but you have no idea, just start to draw random lines, you will see, that it helps a lot.

Materials: Pilot pen on watercolour paper.

If you like my Space Girl, check out my other drawings, too. 🙂

Robot Trex

I was sitting in physics class, when I just started to draw something. This trex is the outcome.

Trex: “If you’re happy, clapp your ahh…”

Materials: black Stabilo fineliner and blue Stabilo markers on watercolour paper. The background is acrylic paint mixed with water.

If you have a question, just ask, don’t be shy.

Skeleton Fish

I was inspired by Morgan Davidson’s inscane drawing on black paper. Honestly I have never seen anything like that. Ever.

So back to my fish, I drew it because I like every kind of animals that live in water, I think they are perfectly beautiful. Also I wanted to try out drawing on black paper with my prismacolor pencils. I actually think that this is my favourite drawing yet. I was not expecting this to turn out that good.

Materials: Prismacolor pencils on black paper. (I also used pastell chalk, but it did not work that good, it somehow just disappeared from the paper…)

If you like my Skeleton Fish, don’t forget to check out my other drawings, too.

Butterfly girl

This drawing is on the first page of my sketchbook. Do you know that disturbing feeling, that you need to let out something? When you finally reach your goal, you atart to levitate and fly. This is what I felt, when I started to do art, that way the only way I could let everything out.

Materials: watercolour on watercolour paper. For the outline I used a Stabilo fineliner.

I hope you like it

Oldtimer

This is a drawing about an oldtimer. I copied the form of the car (I don’t know who is the designer of this car, but omg he or she is the best), but I coloured it in the way I wanted and as I wanted. I guess this is my dream car.

Materials: prismacolor pencils on 100g/m2 paper.

The Motorcyclist

When I won a competition with my “Bunny” drawing, my price was some art supply that included a cadmium yellow Faber Castell PITT artist pen. I have never heard anything like that before, so I wanted to try out that pen, that’s why I drew this character sitting on a motorcycle. I really like the pen, it’s very pigmented and it’s lot of fun to use it because of it’s brush tip. ( Although this tip is not my favourite one, because it is not as flexible as a Copic Marker’s tip. But these two are of course incomparable).

The sketch

Materials: I drew  in my watercolour paper sketchbook again with a Stabilo fineliner (I do not recommend you to use a fineliner on watercolour paper, it’s hard to draw with it on that rough surface) and a yellow and black watercolour pencil for that messy background.

If you like my drawing, let me know 🙂

Bunny

This bunny means a lot to me. Once I had a rabbit. When I take a look at the drawing, the first thing that crosses my mind is my previous pet. I actually drew this for a competition, that I eventually won.

Materials: Prismacolor pencils on 100g/m2 paper. For the black of the rabbit’s eye I also used a black Stabilo fineliner and for the highlights a white pen.

If you like it, just let me know 😉

Old woman’s smile

This is a drawing from 2017. I found a picture of a nice, friendly woman on Pinterest and I really liked the wrinkles on her face, so I decided to draw it. It was a good way to experience with my graphite pencils.

Materials: different types of graphite pencils on a 100 g/m2 paper.

Flat of my hand

I was reading my favourite book “I am not a serial killer”, when I noticed that palm on the cover. I had an idea. I put some red acrylic paint on my hand and I smashed on the paper, it was lot of fun, that’s how I got the perfect shape I needed.

The process

Materials: black acrylic paint as the background, watercolour pencils from Faber Castell and my favourite white pen (Hybrid Gel Grip). I painted it in my watercolour paper sketchbook.

I hope you like it 🙂

Art is my life

I sometimes find it hard to describe my feelings, the easiest way to show how I really feel deep inside is art.

Darkness and loneliness is all around me, it pulls me into depression. I am tried of looking for my lost myself. All that left to make my life more colourful and happier is music and art…

Materials: Stabilo fineliner, marker and highlighter on watercolour paper. The black background is painted with acryl, just as the grey parts of the girl (acryl mixed with water). I also used my white pen for the fine white lines on the black.
